Peripheral Devices are the input/output devices that are typically used to feed information and instructions into a computer for storage or processing and to show an output.


An input device is any hardware that gives an input to a computer . Apart from mouse and Keyboard there are many other input devices such as webcam, scanner and microphone. An output device gets information from the CPU and displays it to the user as desired. The output is typically presented either on a display device such as a monitor, or on paper (hard copy) with the help of a printer.


The peripheral devices are categorized as 

PERIPHERAL DEVICES

Printer, speakers, projector

MSDSs are available with most of the products which have potential to cause damage to the equipment or some sort of humans while dealing with them. A few examples of these products are: ▪Cleaning solutions such as LCD Cleaner ▪Battery ▪printer cartridge Cleaning solutions such as LCD cleaner, battery, adapter and printer cartridge. MSDS provides information about the safety factors of handling the products and includes their characteristics,  handling strategy, storage instruction and disposal method. It is the responsibility of the technician to read the MSDS sheets which are available with the products . For example , while using a cleaning product to clean the LCD screen of the monitor, if that product is leaving some patches on the screen, it is advisable to read the MSDS sheets prior to using the product.

As a field technician, there are certain guidelines that must be followed to ensure own safety and that of the co-workers. These guidelines provide a sound, safe and flexible environment to work. Following are some general guidelines to be followed while working with electrical/electronic systems • Follow the correct procedures to ensure zero accidents at work. • obey safety signs, stickers and tags on the equipment/devices • use an appropriate tool for the respective task. • Read labels and instructions given on the components  • wear appropriate clothing and remove metal objects before working. • use prescribed protective safety equipment only. • Follow electrical safety rules when working with electrical machinery/equipment. • Report all unsafe acta or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
